After contacting more than 200 artists, record companies, producers, organizers, promoters, media... from the world techno/trance scene, TECHNOKRATIA - international techno organization seated in Belgrade, Serbia, decided to start global humanitarian art project TRANCE FOR PEACE, as an attempt to help all of the people that suffer from the conflict in Yugoslavia. As such, the project is highly above politics and admits no partitions on any bases (national, religious...), since it is clear that need for help is what bounds together all 26 nationalities living in our country. It is also an effort to gather all open-minded, peace-oriented people to contribute within their capabilities, to set their minds in generating positive energy, love, peace and understanding for the whole globe. Once the positivity prevails in the eternal battle with negativity, there will be so much more light for the mankind...

Being artists, we shall use the only means we have - culture and art, as the most natural way of communication. We are people and we want to act with people on the level of the people.

TFP project is a non profit effort, and we are happy to work free helping all those who need our help right now. Main aspects of the project are:

- Trance For Peace events - organizing TFP parties world wide, creating one large global dancefloor, where people would meet and in good party spirit contribute this common effort. Will it be an open air or club event... for how many people... list of participants... all the details about the party are entirely on the organizer, and always bare in mind that what really counts are good will and positive energy...

- Trance For Peace CD compilation - many artists and labels have contacted us and offered to donate their tracks for this humanitarian CD. Currently, we are working on gathering materials, with the idea to involve artists from as many countries as possible, presenting the global trance scene at its best...

The money raised through the TFP project (events, CD, donations...) will be handed over to the International Red Cross Committee as an recognized international organization, which will surely find the best ways to use it as an aid for people in Yugoslavia.
